you do have one thing in your favour, it is relatively easy to change the wing on a megane, i changed one on my brothers megane(2001 plate) but im almost certain its the same wing if not very very close.
a couple of the bolts are a little awkward but i managed it in my dads garage with just a torch and my cars headlights, took me about 2 hours and it looked not too bad in the daylight either. we did source the wing from another megane and as paul says you are probably best to do the same or get a genuine part
