I agree with Selwonk, this sounds like a simpletons (sorry no offence intended) mod.
In the current situation (high petrol & diesel price) do you really want to hammer your MPG? I think not.
Superchips might seem expensive in comparison but theirs is complete or partial reprogramming of the cars ECU to tweak the best performance out of the engine with any mechanical changes and can (to a lesser degree effect MPG either up or down).
