The book time to change a clutch in your car is 6.4 hours.If you times this by the hourly rate of your garage,then you have the labour rate.Parts are likely to be in the region of £150 to £200,so it is not a cheap job.

I've never done a clutch on a Scenic,so I'm a fraid I can't advise you on how difficult a job it is,but if they give you 6.4 hours to do it,I suspect it maybe a tricky one....

Hopefully a Renault Technician will know more.

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
