the hissing noise may well have been the 3 seat belt tensioners going off(in each seat), check to see if the seat belt stalks are much lower and that there is no steel cord exposed on the rear of the anchor points, they should have retracted down about 2inches on both sides.
glad everyone got out ok, even if they did have the collywobbles about the crash. it takes a few days to get over the shock (and the contant slowmo replay in your head of the accident).
its best ot get back behind the wheel as soon as possible and just take it very easy (no slowmo repeats please)
