Dunno cos mine's a laguna. I was just applying the rule of thumb really when saying that. Try the simple solutions first.

But I imagine they can be taken out and checked individually one by one. There should be a legend of them in your manual though.

If all you want to do is to close your window pending inspection by a technician, and as you apparently have the door trim off at the moment, can't you supply DC power directly to the motor so that it raises your window shut?

Just basic thought so please forgive me, but I'm not familiar with the Megane.
