would i be right in saying the pads must have atleast 1.5mm of friction material on them? im sure someone could confirm that though.
as dave says, you might notice less brake efficiency. ive done 23k on my front drilled and grooved discs with uprated pads and they are starting to loose their efficiency or atleast i think so. they are so worn that the grooves on the discs are just about to dissappear
new ones on the way soon though.
