Re: Warranty and servicing
Personally speaking, if the first service is that late, the warranty has already been invalidated.
I'd take this up with the selling dealer.
I spoke to Renault today and they said the warranty is fine as long as I don't actually miss a service. They said they will overlook it if the service is done a few months late but as long as it is done.
The service carried out in Feb last year was the 12 month service (4 months late) so the 24 month service should really of been done last Sept when the car reached 24 months old.
I suppose I could get the 24 months service done now and then it's upto me when I do the 36 months one as the warranty will have expired anyway.
They have sorted a couple of things under the warranty so far but if something major went wrong I wouldn't want to give them a reason not to pay up!
They want £240 for the service so think I'll just get it done then the warranty is safe until it expires.
