Fix for Renault Clio II leaking sunroof

The leak i had is definitley gone now.

I recommend removing the trims from around all the roof pillars inside the car.

Remove the sunvisors and headlining to access the sunroof assembley and fixing points.

Unbolt the sunroof at its fixing points and then the complete sunroof assembley can be slowly lifted from the roof of the car.

Clean both edges of the roof and sunroof where the previous foam seal was.

Once clean apply a thick bead of clear scilicone and carefully bed the sunroof assembley back into its position in the roof .

Now just bolt it back in place and leave to set for at least 24 hours "dont worrie about any scilicone that squeezes out"

When dry carefully trim any excess scilicone from around the sunroof, this can be done slowly with a sharp razor blade but do be take your time!

Now give the car roof a good hosing down and check inside all around your sunroof for any leaks and that should be job done!

Please give this fix a rating if you it works for !!!

(Follow the previous chat for how i found the problem)

(And if your unsure go tell the garage how to do it)

(Vehicle was a 2001 Renault clio II Privilege)
