Unless you have come straight off the motorway I wouldn't be too fussy - then it would be good to leave the engine ticking over.
99% of the time by the time you slow down, stop, put the car in reverse, reverse into the garage, carpark space etc, stop car,put handbrake on etc the turbo will have slowed down anyway as the engine is only just over tickover speed.
As long as you get into the habit of leaving engine on at tickover when you stop to put handrake on,switch of lights, wipers stereo etc before you switch engine off you shouldn't have a problem. As I said not many journeys involve a sudden stop from high engine speeds, without first slowing down and manouevering etc.
Parkers seem to go a bit OTT as far as Renault and Turbos are concerned, there is a lot of good advice on there, but also a lot of moaners and scare mongers.
