Replacement Gas Struts - Scenic II
Just struggled to get Renault to commit to a £129 (Service&MOT) offer. He tried starting at £229 and was asking what website the offer was on. :loser:
Was also looking at getting the boot struts replaced and was quoted £80 before Christmas to get them both replaced. They are now asking for £150 for them both to be replaced and will not honour the £80 quote.
Have looked on the net and found www.sgs-engineering.com
who are looking for about £30 to get both.
I have looked through the site and can't seem to find any guides/help/required tools with the fitting.
Does anyone know roughly whats involved. Want to give it a shot myself but want to know what I'm letting myself in for first. Don't fancy gettting halfway and then realising that I can't finish the job.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
