Hi there Garry.

The arm will come complete.

What I'd recommend doing would be to remove that cap and squirt a lot of release oil into that area (I'd slacken off the retaining nut beforehand), replace the cap, and leave it for a period - overnight should be enough.

This will help when removing the remains of the arm, although be prepared, it may still put up a bit of a fight.

Just be careful not to damage the surrounding area when pulling away.
