After the diagnostics showed no faults I checked the map sensor pipe again and noticed a small split where the pipe pushes onto the sensor. Ordered a new pipe from the dealer for 12 fitted it and problem solved. No more kangaroo-ing. BIG THANK YOU TO YOU GOGSLAD. Would of been totally bamboozelled if it wasnt for your suggestion.
