Discussion with Renault Customer Services
Just had an interesting conversation with a Customer Services Manager at Renault. I had my Scenic 2004 for approximately 1 day (bought privately) before the drivers window wound it's self down and stayed there. I have been extremely lucky in getting it fixed relatively cheaply but I am just waiting for the next one to go. However the gentleman at Renault said that only a small percentage of Scenics suffered from this fault (although he did not have figures) and that due to the age of the vehicle he would not entertain any financial recompense. He said I could write in but would get the same answer as he had given me over the phone... which seems a little pointless
I would be interested in other people experiences as looking at posts on this site, the widow issue seems fairly common?
