Hey guys and girls. I am after some help. I have been looking recently for a cheeky convertible as a nice weather car, however, I have noticed that every one I have seen for sale so far is overpriced compared to value's given by the likes of Parkers.
EG. I have just been looking at yellow Megane Cabby's on Autotrader, Some of them go up to £5000 where on Parkers it is valued at about £3000.
I was looking at a W reg that on parkers was about £1500 private good and about £2000 independant, but on the trader it was up for £2700.
I don't want to sound like I am trying to rip people off if I ring them and offer them the value I think it is worth after looking at the likes of Parkers. I have also looked at MX5's and the older shape Astra's about the same year's, early 2000's.
I don't mind haggling a bargain but you know what people are like if you offer them nearly half of their asking price.
What does everyone think of this and have you any advice etc? Like what can I take other than a print out of a website to show I am not trying to rip them off. I just don't want to pay over the odds just because everyone is pricing it around that.
