Re: Car valuations.
Convertible prices are very much down to the whims of the UK weather. They sell like hot cakes on good sunny days and likes dogs in the winter months.
The best time to buy is when it lashing down and cold and the best time to sell is on a sunny day just before a summer Bank Holiday - well that's whats my local car salesman tells me anyway. He will also say they tend to hang around the forecourt much longer than average so there is always the possibility of grabbing a bargain when sales are slow. A a general rule soft-tops are harder to sell so its worth closely watching this apsect of the market.
