Tolsen, that's the way I was thinking as I am not one of these owners who just drive to the 'stealers' or where ever and say fix it. If I have to, at least I can see when i am being bull¤¤¤¤ted to.
I didn't think the tail-shaft would be un-seperatable.
That is promising. I have a friend who is wrecking an Rx4. I need rear shocks and LHrear CV shaft so might get the whole tail shaft too and mess around with bearings.
I wonder if a suspension shop could manufacture a damper to the size of a bearing I get that fits the shaft? There is one place here in Brisbane who make up urathane mounts to size in a few differing hardnesses. That might be worth a shot.
