Re: Renault Scenic Dynamique - 1.6 servicing schedule

is your scenic a 2005 55 reg or 2006. If it is a 2005 then it will be due a cambelt change, along with the pulleys, tensioners and water pump. The cambelt should be changed every 5 years or 72k whichever comes first. If you are getting a rattle like noise on start up then ring up renault customer services and ask if they will replace the dephaser free of charge and get your cambelt changed at renaults expense as it is part of the job, just pay for the water pump. As for the service it would depend on whats been done before. The service book is not that expensive and yes you should of got one when you bought the car, but I would just bite the bullet and buy one. a 36K service will probably include engine flush, new engine oil , oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, air con cleanse and re - gas, new plugs and checking brakes, lights etc. If you go to a renault main dealer you will also get any available software updates free of charge, which an independant garage cannot do.

Currently in Haree's garage:
I don't have a garage just a driveway. The Modus 1.6 16v VVT Dynamique Auto is my Grandparents car which I also drive.
