Chrome Touch Up Paint

Hopefully Velsatsified will be able to help me out here.
As mentioned in another post, our 6 week old Laguna has a stone chip on the plastic chrome trim on the front bumper. It has gone through to the plastic and has left a small raised rough edge of plastic as well as a tiny area of "split, flaky paint". It isnt that bad, looks more like a squashed fly on the trim from a distance, but I would like to make it less obvious if possible.

Is it possible to buy chrome touch up paint? I have seen some aerosol chrome paint in my local Homebase ( not sure if it is any good) and have some clearcoat lacquer in the garage which would go on top.

I am prepared to have a go at this myself as I have been quite successful in the past with small scuffs & chips on paintwork & bumpers.

So my question really is - does anyone know where I copuld get a good paint match? or I am better off leaving it as chrome is difficult to match up and could end up making it look worse?

Thanks for any genuine advice.
