Well, it should be serviced at the recommended intervals for that model, whatever that may be.

I stand by what I said previously though - if the intervals have been ignored, the manufacturer will take a dim view of (how they see it), the owner neglecting his own car, and will not honour warranty issues relating to service items affected by overstepping the service period.

At the end of the day, you cannot have your cake & eat it, you either have the car serviced at the correct periods and maintain the warranty (its a T & C of the warranty), or you choose to save the money, and run the risk from what happens thereafter.
