As far as I'm aware, there isn't a pre-requisite to use any particular brand of oil .

Whats important is the viscosity, the quality and if its mineral/semi-synthetic or fully-synthetic, that's needed.

I would check the handbook and/or phone another dealer to clarify about the viscosity (they can also tell if it has a filter from the VIN or reg).
