It sounds quite a lot - I'm going to be changing the oil on my van at the end of the month/beginning of next, and 5 litres will cover that.

Mine has a turbo as well, but its a 2.8 diesel.

Personally, I'd have though 5 litres should be plenty, but the handbook should make mention of this.

Remember that it will mention sump capacity, but you never get all the old oil drained, so don't automatically think because it may say 5 litres (for example), then 5 litres is what should go in - you'll end up with too much oil in the system.
