The filter would've been fitted at the factory, therefore the specification forms parts of the chassis number.

Absolutely ludicrous that this information is being witheld.

I'd be inclined to phone Renault customer services as they will be able to confirm the presence of a filter over the phone (just as I'd expect a dealer to be able to).
