Re: Laguna II Full Service - Engine Oil - Comma?

Now I'm getting really annoyed with Renault.

Yesterday I called Customer Services to find out which was the correct oil to use whether my car has a particle filter fitted or not. I was told that my car didn't have this filter and the correct grade is 5w/30.

Decided to pop into my local Renault garage this morning to buy some diesel tank additive and asked if they could check if my car had this filter, the manager said they would need to put my car on the ramp and inspect. That'll be 99. NO Thanks! Not a chance.
I can't believe they want to charge me 99 just to check if I had a filter or not.

So I called Customer Services again and now they told me my DID have a particulate filter. WHAT IS GOING ON! Yesterday it didn't, today it does!

I need to know this as it depends on what oil to use!

Any ideas guys as I starting to loose it!
