when you first look at a laguna II they look great drive nice and have lots of toys
BUT :loser: when it breaks and its does so very often that you soon realise this car wasn't built to last.
resale is poor (good reason for that) and the 1.9DCI is the best of the worse in that its the only one to own but the
will need replacing at some point.
Own one for last 3 years
2 front springs
2 front lower ball joints
2 rear bushes
2 window reg.
2 rear disks
1 rear ABS sensor
tyre sensors repaired every service until I go turned off.
tracking 3 times
2 frount shocks
then the normal services and brake pads and tyres I would consider as part of expected running cost
now it needs timing belt and another
Not a car I would buy again or one I sell to a friend..
but for the good news it is a nice safe driver that copes well on the road and returns 40+ mpg of mixed driving.
and is a quick car for 1.9dci 120bhp
