1.9 rtdt scenic migrane 1998
Ok here goes,
as you are all no doubt aware this is more likely an issue caused by the dude that made my engine so oily a while back ( i found out that it was due to the apprentice placing the the used
bowl on the engine bay then dashed off to lunch and kept it quiet upon his return , innevitabley it ended up depositing enough used
in my engine bay to suspect a serious problem , his eventual excuse "cos we was tight for space, and erm er.............sorry. hahahahahahahah yeh im still laughing now................NOT!!)
ok either way , my frog like steed has developed a noise from the front nearside wheel engine area now , it sounds like a progressive naaaar figgadigga naaaaaar sound ? ( tone only, sorry no base line either)
starts in 3rd at around 40mph, and gets worse as i move through the gears, if im on the motorway in 5th at 50mph , its vague, hit 60 and its gone ?
and as soon as i back off the throttle it gets louder, and the noise will remain until i exit the motor way. even when it is out of gear and coasting from say 20mph come to a halt and it stops, but as soon as i hit 3rd gear again it starts to come back.
if anyone can recall the dinosaurus mini metrosus (austin metro ) it sounds like they used to , eg horrid transmission sound while traveling , but the gearbox is fine ,not sticky or vibrating, also topped up with correct splodge @ 80 w gear
not over filled.. could it be a bearing , or a drive shaft, or something to do with the clutch seeing as its only done 1200 miles ? . and if it is a drive shaft any ideas as to the avg charge for a psngr side drive shaft,
either way i still reckon its a wickid motor.
""oooooooh look mummy" " can i poke it with this small fluffy animal that ive duck taped to a stick"
