Re: Renault Scenic - Engines - Cam Belt Change

while on the subject of cambelts...i have a renault senic 1.6 16 v and the timing belt snapped due to a fault water pump.anyway i lapped in 16 new valves and a new water pump but is there a possibility that the camshafts could be out of line with the camshaft sprockets? i.e could the sprockets move with the camshaft stationary??
