Just for info and further to the above. I have just changed the coils in our Scenic. Second from left was the worst

109 for all four from my local motor factors which is a whole lot cheaper than Renault parts. Don't worry about the make of the coil as I've been informed it's a running problem which is not specific to the particular coil you put in.........that's what I've been told anyway!!

Ten minute job at most on our Scenic.
  • remove engine cover
  • unclip the four ignition leads
  • undo bolts holding coils in place
  • wiggle coils free of spark plugs
  • replace in reverse with new coils
I would say you may as well check the condition of your spark plugs whilst removing the coils birds with one stone an' all that
