We've had the car just under 2 years and we got the aircon re-gassed last year (hence my reluctance to do it again without checking).

We've never change the air-filter (and garage have never mentioned it after a service) so I'm guessing you could be right - particularly if the filter also affects hot air. I gotta say I've never been 'blown away' (excuse the pun) with the performance of either the heater or the cooling.

What's a good price to pay for a replacement filter? eBay etc have some that end up 15-18 with postage or Euro Car Parts have it for 18.20 - I know I'd prefer the 'security' of the latter but wasn't sure if this was a good price or not!
