The thinking being that some one as tried to brake into
you car and bent something trying, the body is not likely
so the door it is.
Maybe you could adjust the door catch in a bit and so pull
the door a bit tighter into the seal but if so much water
is getting in I would have thought sitting in the car and
get someone to put the hose on it may help decide were
its getting in.

Who would design a vehicle that falls over when you stop?
