Trouble is,the make of calipers not always collates with the make of master cylinder.I think the French are the worst for this,and as Matt has said,Peugeot seem to use about 40 different manufacturers!!
I have worked on Pugs with Lucas Master cylinders,Bosch front calipers and Bendix rear shoes.....
You really do need to look at the calipers or have a selection of pads ready......

I'd rather push my Alfa than drive a BMW....
