Hazy headlights!

Hi all!

I have read all of the posts on here about headlight haziness etc but nothing seems to have worked so far.

My headlights on my Clio have what looks like tiny little scratches, and because there are so many of them they look quite hazy. It's not a cloudy yellow look, but I am presuming dirt etc gets into the tiny scratches which makes them noticeable.

I have tried the following:

Plastx headlight restoration polish - Works till you wash the car or it rains!

T-Cut - Does the same!

A kit I bought from eBay where you use very fine sandpaper and some plastic polish - Worked great until I washed the car then they just re-appeared again!

I know there is an option of buying new headlights but I don't want to do that if they are just going to get the same problem!

I have also changed my lightbulbs to non UV ones just in case!

Any help would be great!
