I'm not up to speed on the late model Scenic, but here's a general guide as to how most mechanics would tackle a vehicle they haven't encountered before.

Remove interior light panel - Assuming this is an overhead console with interior lights in it, this is usually just a case of inserting a (very small) screwdriver down one edge of the light and carefully prising it out. Approach the other light unit in the same way.

You now may see some screws securing the console unit to the roof, or there will be some (obscure) plastic clips, moulded into the unit. Again, use the small screwdriver approach to release it.

Once it's free, you should see the aerial base and the nut securing it to the roof. Now it's just a case of unscrewing the nut, removing the aerial, thorough clean and reseal with silicone sealant. Use the exterior type of sealant, not the stuff you use for baths and showers.

Reassemble everything and you should be OK.

Sorry if the above sounds rather flippant, but sometimes you just have to get stuck in and give it a go. Virtually all interior fittings are secured by plastic clip fittings, and they either come free or they break. Still, better than paying garage charges if you can sort it yourself.

Be brave and try. If you find you don't know what you're doing, stop there and put it all back together. But at least you tried.
