Re: Can I repair my Cat C Accident Damaged Laguna II 2.0 DCi Initiale Sports Tourer
Judging from the pictire the bodywork appears to be the least of your worries. For the front wheel to be forced back it must have been subjected to a lot of force and only detailed examination will reveal the true extent of what is either bent or broken around the front steering suspension system. There even could be sub-frame or possibly steering rack damage. I have seen cars with less damage repaired but about 6 months down the line a range of crazy problems start to emerge especially if the car is fitted with ESP, etc. As already said it would be worth getting the chassis alignment checked out before throwing parts at it.
Although the alloy wheel looks OK I personally wouldn't be happy after such a serious blatter. It would always be niggling the back of my mind - what hidden flaws are waiting to develop.
