Question Advice for replacing family car

hi all, had to take my 02 Scenic into local dealer today as the mirror switch started melting the drivers door.

Took an hour or so to get it looked at so I had a wander and started wondering if I should replace it sooner than later.

My 02 has 115k on the clock, 1.9 dci, timing belt replaced at 50k, regular oil changes, at least once a year and for a while every 6 months as I was commuting Glasgow-Perth. Now just tootling 20 miles a day. Replaced back bearings and brakes as well as front breaks last year.

Saw a couple of Scenic 2007 models with 20k on the clock for around 6k but that was a just a quick scan this morning.

So, with a family and their growing friends to taxi about what do you think?
