Re: Renault Laguna II 1.9Dci - Engines - Hesitation Cured after EGR cleaned
I have a 1.9DCI Laguna II. I have had the same symptoms as everyone else, car hesitating between 1400rpm and 2000rpm.
I have fitted a new EGR valve as the old original one was not coming out! Cleaned all the ports, checked intercooler hoses/pipes for leaks. I have checked the fuel filter, changed the air filter (which was pretty black). I have changed the MAF sensor today. The problem still exists, when the MAF sensor is disconnected everything is fine apart from the MPG. It can’t be the throttle potentiometer as the fault would still be there when the MAF was disconnected.
There are no warning lights on dash. It will not beat me! Any ideas??
I did think it might be the fuel I have been using lately, however with the MAF sensor disconnected all is fine.
