LAguna 1.9DCi - judder and wet passenger footwell !
Hi, this is a two fold request.
Had my Laguna for 4 years - sort of looked after it with intermittent visits for service etc.
On start up the engine feels rough and hasn't got a lot of guts. Driving up the hill towards route out of village it feels like there is a judder from the car. Not necessarily from the engine but through the whole car. Can feel it through seat of pants rather than through steering wheel. Have been told by garage that the alloys were slightly out of shape but this doesn't really feel like a balancing thing and it's only at lower speeds. (30mph limit)
There's a general vibration in the car anyway. Any car with 127k miles is going to rattle a bit but just wondered if there is a specific reason.
I don't notice it so much but my wife only drives it once or twice a week and she says it's a bag of c**p.....strong words for a meek woman!!
Also, passenger footwell has water in it. Changed the carpet set a few weeks ago to freshen the interior up and all was dry and OK.
Left car out front yesterday and footwell filled up with water. Whilst it did rain yesterday, the windows were shut and the tracking marks the water left imply it didn't come from outside.
Is this a heater matrix issue?? Haven't used heater for ages and never use the aircon function.
Help!! Was going to sell later this month as bought a clio to run round in. Seems the car doesn't want a new owner!!
Any help or assistance provided will be warmly received (unless it's bad news, of course!)
