How long did you leave the pump on after the tank ran dry?
If it was only a few seconds chances are pump is ok. You may not hear it "pumping" if the tank is empty! It's a long shot I know, but our 206 washers are silent when the water runs out - you hear a distinct silence as the water stops reaching the screen.
I assume you have refilled the reservoir? If you have you will need to pull back the squirter for a long time to allow the pump/tubes etc to prime before any water comes out.
Also if the tank ran completley dry, there may be crud & cr@p stuck in nozzles, pipes etc. You may well need to clear them with an airline.
