Re: Beware the MOT, a story of 4 garages

Nice one my-blue-espace

I had a similar story with a Nation wide Garage This was NOT Kwik Fit anyway they deemed one of my Lag 2 rear rubber bushes was shot.

They even too quickly gave a quote of £350 + while they were writing the fail certificate out, when I hit the ceiling telling them they wouldn't be getting the work, the car was two days outside of the manufactures warranty and Renault was about to feel the wrath of my tongue within the next 15 minutes.

An hasty and private meeting soon took place between the manager & the MOT tester from which there was a change of heart, the fail cert was destroyed & an advisory was issued.

I wonder why? NOT.

Meanwhile, after getting to Renault & raising this issue, I was informed that Renault were now covering this exact problem by extending the warranty on that problem to 4 years, thus I had both sides replaced free of charge.
