Re: Renault - Laguna II - Front springs broken
Hi Mord, I don't think the springs need to be changed at all (except when they break) I did have the car set up correctly after the accident. The car is 2002 and has done 85,000 plus a bit. Which for a diesel is nothing. I have to have the tracking done at least every 6 months and have just had the 5th track rod end fitted, both sides seem to go alternatly.
My last car a Citroen Xantia had 198,000 miles on it with no major problems.
I am at the moment waiting for a part for the injection. When if I accelerate up a hill a message appears telling me there is a fault in the fuel injection system, the car nose dives and a huge black cloud appears out the exhaust and it keeps pouring out till I stop the car. Then its OK till the next hill. Its going to cost 180 euros plus delivery. Renault are on holiday and I have been waiting 4 weeks and nothing yet.
