Talking Re: Renault - Laguna II - Front springs broken

hehehe, you wernt about from october on last year, the number of new members joining with failing springs was getting silly.

its a factor of pot holes, speed bumps and other abusive UK trafic calming measures, freezing cold, and age! combined with Renault Cars and you get busted springs and tyres and rims.

there were a lot of discussions about how old or how far before they really should be considered to be replaced before something bad and very expensive occurs, at just the moment you least need the agro.

general consensus was if changed at approx 5 years or about 50k you were then unlikely to suffer any issues with the suspension, for vehicles doing heavy towing a lot it may be lowered to 36k (as recomended by a caravan club member to me.)

its likely you could go 10 years or more if you didnt have to deal with roads that abuse the suspension system, so its just a matter of where you live, how you drive and how car friendly your local coucil is
