I'm not sure about the Lag Sport Tourer, but a lot of estates let you de-spec the roof rails as a no cost option. If you're sure you're never going to use them and prefer the look of the car without them, then it makes sense to have them left off. Chances are that's what the original owner did.

I'm not sure where that leaves you as far as roof bars are concerned. The ones for the hatch grip onto a ledge that's hidden by the door rubber - you wouldn't even know it was there unless you knew how to fit the bars. Try gently peeling back the tops of the door rubbers and seeing if there's a similar lip on your car. If there is, then Renault might well do bars for it.

At a pinch, the hatchback ones might just fit, though they're contoured to the roof so I suspect the rear one would sit angled forward slightly.
