After I got the belt done I got the V5 back from the last owner, so I wrote to him asking for any service history he knew off as I had'nt got any with the car!
GUESS WHAT! He bought the car from only a few months old as it was an ex-demonstrator, he had it serviced religiously, and last July 2009 it had a new belt and water pump in with a major service costing 1000!!!
He was its only private owner.
This was backed up when I rang Cooks to see if they could give me a copy of the service history, they backed up everything the previous owner had said.
Oh well, cant be too carefull, if we had;nt of got it done sods law determins it would have broke!!
At least I konow we have a good well serviced car.
