It really depends on what type of driving the car has been subjected to.

If its been a taxi, then lots of short journeys in an urban environment is heavy on clutches & brakes.

If its been a motorway hack, then mechanically it should be fine, but the body may be a bit battle-scarred through stonechipping.

I'd probably (for peace of mind) get a service & cambelt change (including the associated water pump & belts).

Then I'd take it from there - at least with that kind of mileage, you have the reassurance that its unlikely to have been clocked!
