Re: Water in wind scrren cowl

Hi Truckster - welcome to the forum.

You are the second person this week to post the same question. The scuttle area under the cowl has two drain holes and piping - one in each side and in the corner. Ideally you'll need to remove the wiper arms for access but you may be able to lift the front edge of the cowl and probe into the corner with a piece of firm wire such as starighened coat hanger whilst gently tricklng water into the area. If you have had severe problems it is most likely the pollen filter will have sufferd so also check it out. Flooding in this are can also lead to wiper motor failure so don't ignore the problem.
Blocked scuttle drains are a very common problem and not just in Renaults.
