The only way I can think of is to separate the lens from the housing using a new Stanley blade so you don't have to use much pressure.

When separated, clean off all traces of sealer from both parts.

If it's a plastic lens, then a good wash and rinse will clean it, I'd be wary of using anything abrasive on plastic. Dry off with a clean microfibre cloth.

Pop a small bead of new sealant around the housing and carefully replace the lens and wait until it sets.
