The 2.2dci is more reliable than the 1.9 - but there have also been a few failures or turbos etc. It appears that since the modified intercoolers, fully synth oil has been used by Renault, even 1.9dci problems are less common.

As always check for full service history, check fully synthetic oil has been used, also check cambelt has been replaced.
Apart from all the usual things to check, make sure all the electrical bits work.
if buying from a dealer make sure you get a minimum 3 mths warranty - that goes for any modern car not just the Laguna.
