Hi M8. Somtimes When The Exhaust Front Pipe Is Changed On Cars The New Pipe Comes With A Blanking Plug For The Lambda. If Seen Some Mechanics Not Putting The Sensor Back In Because It Has Been Seized In The Old Exhaust.
(to Lazy Or The Preveous Owner Didnt Have The Cash)
So Have A Look At The Front Pipe And Look For A Bolt In The Side Of It. If It Has Then All You Have To Do Is Purches A New Sensor And Locate The Multi Plug Conector And Connect It Up.

Its Worth A Try Its Very Common.

Good Luck
