I am assuming you have a Laguna II, not the LAguna I?
As far as I know all Lag II UK models have a Thatcham cat 1 alarm complete with sensors, although the base models may not.
When the alrm has gone off intermittently, the indicators flash 4 times when unlocking the doors. I have found something in the Renault literature about Alarm Memory. "The alarm description information is given by different LED blinking which is available until ignition switched ON" i.e 1 blink = doors, bonnet boot have been opened. 6 blinks = tamper mode. Is this an Optional extra?

Still unable to activate Volumetric sensor alarm when doors locked and still inside vehicle making as much noise as possible.
