Are the 5 sp autos in Laguna II problematic - Mated to the 3.0ltr v6, what should one look out for when making a purchase?

changes at least every 50k. I got a price of AUS$12k just for the gearbox a few years ago. Our gearbox got to about 96k before it started going off (bad shifts, slow coming out of auto neutral) it got to 115k before it just had to be changed.
They are fantastic cars, but the auto gearbox needs more love than the service manual states. They are darn cheap in Australia now, but you need to find somewhere that knows how to service them.
