Re: Renault Scenic II - Access the resistor pack in 5 mins.

I am also in dispute with Renault custmer services and any help will be greatly appreciated. Renault state this is not a common fault. I spoke with the 'Service Receptionist' at my local Renault dealer who told me this is a common fault. I believe she got into trouble for telling me the truth. Renault however, still deny this !?? As a goodwill gesture (haha) they offered me a 20% discount on the repair which they quoted at 317.17. I will be turning this down and will keep on fighting. My Renault is a 2005 DCI and has covered 115,000 miles. Renault say my car is too far out of warranty and parts are only covered to 100,000 miles. If I were complaining about the transmission or engine, 100K - fair enough, but we are talking about an electrical component with no moving parts. Does anyone have any advice which may be of help? Thank you. Tom
